Henann Extends a Helping Hand
It is said that Filipinos are resilient and has the propensity to still smile even on hard times but that’s not always the scenario – the island of Boracay has been closed to public and tourists since April 26, 2018 as ordered by President Rodrigo Duterte to give way for its 6-month rehabilitation thus affecting the livelihood of the locals there.
The closure affected a lot of our fellow Filipinos and since many establishments are closed for business, numerous employees are laid off their respective jobs.
Last September 28, 2018, the Henann group in cooperation with Boracay Foundation donated about 3,500 gift packs to families affected by the Boracay closure. The company has been in the island since 1998 and has already formed a significant relationship with the locals.
Less than a month to go and the island will be open again – better than ever. See you again in paradise!
